Mark Chesterman to Join Capital.com as Chief Risk Officer
Mark Chesterman is expected to join Capital.com as its chief risk officer, TradeInformer has learned.
He joins Capital.com after seven years at rival brokerage OANDA. Chesterman first led OANDA's trading team before spending more than four years as chief risk officer.
Before OANDA, he spent nearly 15 years at IG Group in senior roles across trading, operations, and business development. He also worked briefly at Stater Global Markets, a prime-of-prime broker that has since closed.
OANDA has made major operational changes over the past year following its acquisition by prop firm FTMO. Most of its senior executives in the UK and Poland have left. The company also appears to be shifting key operations to Prague, where FTMO is based.
Capital.com is undergoing changes of its own. The company has rebranded, introduced stocks and ETFs in Europe, and hired a new chief marketing officer. It also continues to report strong growth, with trading volume reaching $2.45 trillion in the first half of 2026.
