1. What is the World Trading Competition?
The World Trading Competition is a global event hosted by ZERO Markets. Traders compete on demo accounts, not live funded accounts, for real cash prizes and a place on the worldwide leaderboard.
2. Do I need to use real money?
No. The competition uses a demo account only. You don't need to deposit funds or risk real capital.
3. Who can join?
The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and older, except for residents of restricted countries listed in the official Terms and Conditions.
4. How many rounds are there?
There are several qualifier rounds followed by a Final Round. Each qualifier gives new and returning participants a chance to compete for prizes and qualification.
5. When does the competition begin?
Each qualifier has its own start and end date. For example, Qualifier 1 begins on Nov 17. ZERO Markets will share all dates by email and on the official competition pages.
6. How are traders ranked?
Rankings are based on Net Return % achieved on the demo account. The leaderboard updates daily, and scoring follows the official Competition Rules.
7. Where can I check the leaderboard?
You can view the leaderboard in the official competition portal once the round starts. After registration, you'll receive the link and login details.
8. What can I win?
Each stage offers cash prizes and Final Round tickets, and the prize amounts differ by round. The Final Round awards more than USD 100,000 in total prizes.
9. How do I qualify for the Final Round?
Finish among the top traders in a qualifying round and earn your place in the Final. Qualification is based on Net Return % on your demo account.
10. Do I need a ZERO Markets account to join?
A competition demo account is created for registered participants. After sign-up, you'll receive your account details and login credentials.
11. Can I use bots, EAs, or copy trading?
Expert Advisors (EAs) and other automated trading tools are allowed, as long as they stay within platform limits. However, copy trading is not allowed and can lead to immediate disqualification.
12. What happens if someone breaks the rules?
ZERO Markets may disqualify any participant who breaks the rules, manipulates activity, or takes part in unfair trading practices, as stated in the Terms and Competition Rules.
