GTCFX Chief Strategy Officer Deepak Stephen Leaves the Firm
Deepak Stephen has left his role as chief strategy officer at Dubai-based CFD broker GTCFX, adding to a series of senior leadership changes at the company.
Stephen became CSO about a year ago after joining GTCFX in early 2024 as head of people operations. Before that, he spent three years at B2Broker, a provider of brokerage technology and liquidity services.
The leadership changes are taking place under GTCFX's new CEO, Charbel Raffoul, who joined earlier this month from ATFX. The company has also appointed Abdelrahman Al Ali, formerly with UAE regulator CMA, as general manager. Raechel Rose, another former ATFX executive, has joined as head of compliance. Gaelle Nammour, who worked in compliance for ATFX MENA, has also joined GTCFX as Rose's deputy MLRO.
GTCFX belongs to GTC Group, which operates several CFD trading brands. These include ASIC-licensed GTC Global Australia Pty Ltd, UAE CMA-regulated GTC Financial Consultancy LLC, GTC Global SA (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, and offshore entities in Comoros, Mauritius, and Vanuatu that run the gtcfx.com website. Managing Partner Pingfu (Jack) Zheng controls the group.
