RoboForex Brings Swap-Free Trading to Every Client

RoboForex says it's opening swap-free trading accounts to all clients, across its platform. That means traders can keep positions open overnight without paying swap (overnight) fees. The broker also says it won't offset that change by widening spreads or adding new commissions.

RoboForex operates under a license from the Belize Financial Services Commission (FSC). With this update, the company removes the charges that often apply when a trade stays open past the daily rollover. Many brokers replace swap income by raising other costs, however RoboForex says it will cover the expense itself.

Latin America Trial Came First

Before launching this worldwide, RoboForex tested swap-free accounts in several Latin American countries last year. The firm reports that client response was strong, so it decided to expand the feature to all regions.

Douglas Abreu, LATAM Operations Director at RoboForex, said the pilot results helped confirm the global rollout. He also said the change fits the company's push for simpler pricing, clearer costs, and more flexibility for traders who hold positions longer.

RoboForex added that swap-free status will apply to newly opened accounts. It will cover common markets like forex pairs and precious metals. Still, the broker didn't list any instruments that may be excluded, and it didn't share expected adoption figures.

Brokers Keep Competing on Lower Trading Fees

RoboForex's update comes as retail brokers compete harder on pricing. Many firms now focus on lowering ongoing trading costs to win and keep clients.

For example, Vantage Markets launched swap-free accounts in Vietnam in September 2025. It promoted the option as a way to avoid overnight financing charges that can eat into results.

Meanwhile, Versus Trade has also marketed swap-free trading as part of its main offer. It pairs that message with execution improvements and lower stop-out levels for retail traders.

Swap-free accounts started as a solution for Islamic finance, where paying or receiving interest isn't allowed. Over time, though, brokers have offered them more widely. They often appeal to swing traders and position traders who keep trades open for days or weeks and want steadier, easier-to-predict costs.

Other Cost Cuts RoboForex Points To

RoboForex tied the swap-free expansion to a wider effort to lower trading expenses. The broker says clients can make up to three free withdrawals each month. It also says it doesn't charge deposit commissions, which can help traders reduce costs beyond spreads and swaps.

The company has also made other product updates in recent months. In November 2025, RoboForex updated its copy-trading service by adding support for both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. It also introduced a commission-sharing model for partners. Data from Brokeree Solutions suggests copy trading can make up about 6% to 20% of retail broker trading volume.

Separately, RoboForex affiliate RoboMarkets secured a Category 1 brokerage license from the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority in September 2025. That license allows it to onboard clients in the United Arab Emirates and execute trades locally.

RoboForex says swap-free accounts are available now for new clients in all regions where it operates. However, the broker didn't share current client totals or forecasts for how many traders will switch to the new account type.
