EC Markets Places in the Global Top 3 with $5.13T in Q1 2026 Trading Volume
EC Markets is still one of the top three brokers worldwide after posting $5.13 trillion in trading volume for Q1 2026, based on the Finance Magnates Q1 2026 Intelligence Report. That total is up 14.6% from the prior quarter and sets a new high for the global multi-asset broker.
Q1 2026 at a glance
A strong start to 2026
EC Markets posted solid quarter-over-quarter growth in Q1 2026. Higher trading activity, a larger active client base, and broader demand across multiple asset classes all helped push volume higher.
Q1 2026 compared with Q4 2025
These gains point to continued demand for institutional-grade pricing, access to multiple markets, and a technology-led trading setup.
More traders joined the platform
The number of active accounts climbed to 272,000 in Q1 2026, up from 230,000 in Q4 2025. Average volume per account reached $6.28 million.
That 18.3% jump shows that more traders are choosing EC Markets for its platform, pricing, and trading infrastructure.
Trading expanded across asset classes
Growth was broad across the business in Q1 2026. FX accounted for 2% of total volume, while the other 98% came from additional asset classes such as commodities, indices, and digital assets.
This mix shows how much the company's multi-asset offering has grown. Traders continue to get access to deep liquidity, quick execution, and a tightly regulated environment.
Brand growth through partnership
EC Markets' global partnership with Liverpool FC has helped raise brand visibility in key international regions. It has also supported client growth in important markets.
What's next
EC Markets plans to keep growing in Asia, LATAM, and the Middle East through new partnerships, ongoing investment in technology, and a strong focus on global regulation.
The goal stays the same: give traders a better experience built on trust, confidence, and steady product growth.
