Sucden Financial Names Bruno Almeida as Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Sucden Financial, a global multi-asset execution, clearing, and liquidity provider, has appointed Bruno Almeida as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Almeida joined Sucden Financial in September 2024 as an Executive Director and Director of Regulatory and Financial Risks. He came from FNZ Group, where he was CFO for the UKMEA region. Earlier in his career, he served as an Executive Director and Board member at FNZ Securities Ltd. He also worked as a Lead Associate in the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Prudential Specialists Department, and held roles at Itaú BBA International plc and KMPG. His CFO appointment has received FCA approval.
Marc Bailey, CEO of Sucden Financial, said Almeida has already had a strong impact, including helping roll out improved capital and liquidity risk management systems and processes. Bailey added that Almeida's experience will support the company as it expands into new markets and builds more opportunities for clients.
Almeida said that since joining in 2024, he's been impressed by the firm's strength, its people, and the growth ahead. He added that he's looking forward to working with Bailey, the Board, and the wider team to keep strengthening the financial framework and improving technology platforms to support continued growth.
